It’s a week of episodes not quite living up to their predecessors in this Round-Up- is it just the after-effect of trying to watch some Gundam Seed Destiny, or a sign that the viewing schedule needs an injection of fresh blood from the spring season? Either way, I’ve decided to drop Les Miserables and La [...]

03/30/2007 01:02 AM EDTFigure News: Nanami SOS PVC available for preorder (tentacles included) >>
Last night Amiami listed for preorder what has to rank among the most ridiculous and yet oddly alluring figures I have ever seen: the improbably-bosomed Koishikawa Nanami from eroanime/manga Nanami SOS, complete with a set of configurable tentacles. In a strange coincidence I only became aware of this particular bit of animated detritus a few days ago while checking for Front Innocent updates... The figure is due out in July from maker Romando, not particularly known for their bishoujo figures. I'd recommend avoiding this item like the plague, really, unless you feel the same strange compulsion I do (or want to give a really bizarre gift to "a friend"). Shots ganked from Amiami below:

Here’s where it all started. The first chapter, Onikakushi-hen, marks the first appearance of the Killer Loli Sentai, and we get to see what life is like in the crazy little village of Hinamizawa. In this case, the first is the best. A healthy balance of wacky hijinks and chilling suspense, plus having no [...]

Oh, I’ll give you romantic, all right.
Dragon Ball skirts controversial territory with a trip to an ancient yet high tech pirate cave, a cross over with Dr. Slump that makes little to no sense to those unfamiliar with the source material, and the introduction of a very busy villain: Aryan SS officer narcissist [...]

Putting Manabi Straight behind is like putting behind a very heartful conviction behind you; it’s just not healthy. Instead, I think, it’s a good way to do it is to commemorate it through rewatching :)
The thankful, yet unfortunate fansubbing effort is a good way to do it, and for every episode that I rewatch I [...]

I'm sure we're all thinking our brains out about the disappearance, as it were, of Suzumiya Haruhi's return. Or we have already. My silent observation (sort of) has allowed me to compile all the theories I can think of, and some I just made up, about just what is going on. With commentary, of course!
1: CLANNAD will come in fall 2007, and Haruhi will air in Spring of 2008.
Comments:Possible.

Shimojii no uragirimono!!!!!
Oh. My. God. Another bloody awesome way to kickstart(pun intended) another episode of Manabi. More proof she’s related to Haruhi here, with that awesome dropkick of hers. I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of that… >.<.
Also, unexpectedly, Aya Hisakawa plays the Aikoh Superintendent. Oh man, how much I’ve missed that [...]

Wow. Ok. That episode was rather…interesting. I’m still slightly confused at exactly what happened. Kazuya’s apparently dead and I have no idea what happened to Himeko or Soijiro. Yeah…um, I doubt Kazuya is dead just yet and the same goes for the other two. Bastille though, still seems to [...]

After nearly a year's interim since the last release of the Suzumiya Haruhi light novels, the ninth installment titled, Suzumiya Haruhi no Bunretsu (涼宮ハルヒの分裂), leaps its way into the shelves of a few Akiba stores and to the surprise of many as it arrives days before its targeted April 1st sale date. The inside front colour illustration greets the reader with Haruhi dolled up in an alluring china dress. The slits of these dresses ever still elegantly exposing a ladies' legs always gets my member a little aroused~ Akiba stores such as Gamers and Melon Books are all decked out and ready for their respective sale dates for the light novel.I do wish I was in Japan at around this time, just to simply witness and experience first-hand what kind of blitzkrieg will occur in Akiba this weekend. In fact, I really, really want to be there right now especially since Toranoana will be staging a commemorative promotion in which for each purchase of the light novel, the buyer will be presented with 1 (out of 4) specially made guidebooks. And yes, I want them, and any other promotional gifts and presents other stores might be handing out as well. ;_; The tenth installment of the Suzumiya Haruhi light novels series, "Suzumiya Haruhi no Kyogaku" (涼宮ハルヒの驚愕) is just round the corner with its release dated for June 1st.News Source: Akiba Blog

A lady sleeps in the bed of flowers, as she lays there in a relaxed manner and undisturbed by the bloodshed and ashes of the battle. When she wakes up, she will remember nothing. Yet, her steps will always be remembered by the few that have witnessed this spectacle.

OMG, this is so awesome. More than I thought possible. Remember how I previously mentioned that I have difficulty connecting with the character? Well, this will sound heartless but that little problem turns out to be pure joy for me right now because it means I can enjoy the carnage without feeling depressed about it. After all, unlike series like Evangelion, I have no favourite character here so I can just relax and marvel at the destruction and mayhem. And what carnage this one turns out to be. I have to give it to the writers for having the courage to wipe out characters left and right like this. By the time the episode ends, almost everyone is either powned, completely messed up, or will get unpleasant surprise in the future. The only thing bad about this episode is that we have to wait until summer to watch the last 2 episodes, which I think will wrap up the Lelouch's rebellion part of the story.

03/29/2007 07:07 PM EDTMarch is Fetish Month - #8 Futanari - Is it a boy? Is it a girl? Who cares anyway? >>
| You know what they say about girls with big weapons…Big guns, big…err…personality.
And as March draws to a close, I at last come to something more relevant to the interests of this blog – the fetish of futanari.
Futanari is, unlike the other fetishes discussed this month, rather more niche – almost as niche as guro [...]
