Spoiler warning: If you have not seen Code Geass 22 and intend to do so this lifetime, I beesch you, from the bottom of my tanuki hide, AVOID all CG 22 discussions. As my gahmen (government) always implicitly say, “It’s for your own good.” XD
Despite having seen relatively few of their works, I consider [...]

This past Sunday, a large gathering of SOS団-tians, a few traps, and Darth Vader, staged together what is arguably the grandest spectacle to have ever graced the grounds outside Akihabara Station.Damn it, wish I was there to join them. _| ̄|○

This is a very interesting phenomenon that I’m sure also happens to most other anime blogs. When a blog builds up a decent archive of old posts, all of them can be found through google, particularly those with keywords of the uncommon kind. Fans of certain anime series who fervently google about their favourite shows [...]

[Episode 21: School Festival Announcement]
[Enjoyment Value: 9/10]
[Thoughts]
What a good episode. There wasn’t any fast-paced action or anything like that but it was very informational. I liked how everyone was in a panic-fest mood throughout the entire episode. Lelouch, C.C., Kallen, Suzaku, Ohgi, Villetta, and Shirley all together was almost unbelievable that I was sitting on [...]

Goodsmile first announced that they had acquired Nakayama Eiji (Tekkoryuu)'s 1/5 scale Samurai Spirits Iroha sculpt for mass PVC production at Wonder Festival Summer 2006. She hasn't been mentioned since, and the skeptical among us thought she might have been dropped from their production schedule entirely. Hope returns today in the form of a GA Graphic newspost from the Goodsmile booth at TAF 2007: Iroha lives, and in color! No news yet on a target release window beyond "summer 2007", but this is an item I'll be watching like a ravenous bird of prey. Details in this Friday's News Watch, perhaps? (no more)

How not to show off an elfgirl poster
I ordered the Genshiken box set in late December as part of RightStuf’s Christmas sale, got it about a month ago, and finished watching it over the weekend. Before I got the anime in the mail, I had already started reading the manga and recently finished volume 2, [...]

Anyway, onwards for my second post of this nature ever. The last one was on the promo of Joshikousei and that flopped… oh oxygen, did it flop. Hopefully this won’t go that route.
So Doremi translates the above as “a story of girls being played with by destiny…”
Does that [...]

*image courtesy of MakiMaki*Volume 50, chapter 498 Reborn Hiraikotsu
This chapter was pretty exciting and a bit…unexpected. For a second, I thought Naraku was finally gonna be destroyed when Hiraikotsu sliced through him like that, but I guess that would be too easy (and too abrupt of a defeat for a villain like him). So now [...]

We now present our new project - the Fansub Buzz Ratings - since nothing’s more fun than obsessive navel gazing! More seriously, the anime scene is fan-driven (we’re all fans here, right?), and so it’s interesting to ask what out there is popular? Luckily, thanks to the power of technology and the growth of [...]

This past weekend the Tokyo Big Sight (東京ビッグサイト) was host to the 6th annual Tokyo International Anime Fair (東京国際アニメフェア) and Hobby Stock has put up a report detailing their ventures and nerdgasms round the exhibit halls. Nothing particularly new at TAF as far as the hobby side of things go, but for those who have been living under a rock as WF2007 Winter wafted by earlier in the year, the Hobby Stock report provides glimpses of what we're to expect from the Good Smile Company contingent during this year. Note: For a much more thorough report of TAF 2007, I recommend heading on over to Danny Choo's blog. And as expected, further promotion was out in full force for GSC's collaborative plans with Broccoli and RED Entertainment's Shuraki series. I still maintain the excitement swirling around me for the news ever since it was announced at WF2007. And towards the end of the report you will see yet another release for the Onegai series. But crikey, these look rather good. Very good, actually. If these unpainted prototypes are any where near indicative of what we'll get fresh from the wrappings, I'd be tempted to declare these -- presentation and sculpt altogether -- as the best in the Onegai series of trading figures. Even rivaling Kotobukiya's past One-Coin offerings.Moving on to yesterday's postings from the quarters of Lolipuni are scoops from the latest issue of Hobby Japan~ Excellent Model Core Queen's Blade Tomoe & Elina1/8 scale | PVC | 5,250 yen (each) | July 2007 | MegaHouse | Queen's BladeExcellent Model RAH.DX G.A. Lucy Maria Misora (ルーシー・マリア・ミソラ)1/7 scale | PVC | 5,145 yen | Summer 2007 | DreamTech | ToHeart2DreamTech appears to be a new subsidiary of WAVE which promises to cater to the fastidious of hobby collectors with their higher quality of goods, as they proclaim in their mission statement. An ambitious claim indeed and considering Lucy is one of my more favoured characters from TH2, plus the added meido element, and a rather impressive Honami and Eri PVC, DreamTech is really stroking my g-spot here, so I'd say they're off on the right foot with their moelicious lineup~

Legendary episode is legendary. Thank god Aki-san didn’t get to join in the mahou shoujo fun (imagine mahou shoujo Aki…!), but it was sure an heartwarming episode there :).

Hello again - we’re back after a lengthy (unplanned) hiatus. Unfortunate, the backlog of paper work at Moemetrics World HQ piled up so high that not only did it crush some of our network equipment and set off some (easily contained) fires, but we could not even get past the paper to the cabinets [...]

The meaning of the phrase "master up" that appears so often appended to Moon Phase eroge news entries has eluded me for awhile now, but I have finally grasped its true meaning: MASTER UP (v.) 1. the pressing of a game's master disc that will then go to off to the presses, be packed in boxes (little boxes, and they all look just the same) and shipped to retailers and eager gamers everywhere - in short, the penultimate step in game production. I'm happy to announce that as of today, Yume Miru Kusuri has entered this esteemed phase. Just a few short weeks until it hits the e-shelves... (no more)

So, I picked up some interesting news about Bandai's inevitable and recently announced licensing of Galaxy Angelrune. One, they're collaborating with Geneon, who's doing the actual distribution. Two, no English dub. Sorry for all those that might have wanted to see Rico and the Rune-tai in English. I'll have to hunt down a fandub or something.
Personally, I didn't really like Galaxy Angelrune at

I don’t know how hard it is to tell geography by visuals when you’re in low earth orbit, but Yukari can do it. For some reason I got the impression that it is rather hard? For one, you don’t look at things north-up.
