If you like the Violin as much as I do, I’m sure you have some references you started with. Mine for example are: The violins in Sailor Moon from Vanessa Mae, Music of the Lord of the dance, other animes like the Melody of Oblivion (beautiful soundtrack!!), and of course, Yuki Kajiura, who uses a [...]

Chiaki gets owned by Streseman, and it’s only natural as Chiaki definitely has no idea how to lead an orchestra, or any type of mass crowd. He needs to make the performers want to do well for him, not just because they were scolded. However, this is all in the good nature of showing [...]

It took around a day for Youtube to verify the AMV. >_<;But nevertheless I am glad that Youtube didn't kill the quality of the video.Anyways, back on topic. The Youtube-hosted video you see above is an anime music video featuring Asatte no Houkou made by none other than yours truly. Being a loyal fan of Michael Wong, I have used a song from his latest album, a Chinese song, "I Am Who I Am". Not-so-obvious spoilers lurk, but it won't hurt those who fear of being spoiled. At least I had not included in any dialogs from the anime so you'll not know what'd happened.Well, that's it. If you are already reading this, why not spend some time watching the AMV? I would be glad if you would leave a comment. I shall upload the AMV to animemusicvideos.org soon enough after I finish my exams. By then, you're free to download the AMV as well. ;)x-posted to awishingstone

Somehow I feel really excited about D.Gray-man now that the fillers are over. From this episode, I believe D.Gray-man has gotten to a level of ‘good’ higher than any previous arc, whether it was filler or not. I do have a few episodes to catch up on, but if you’re wondering, no I will [...]

I think we, as humans, have an unhealthy obsession of seeing failure (just look at William Hung); or at least I do. I think reading reviews on series that sucked is much more amusing than those on series that the reviewer liked, perhaps it's because they don't feel as guilty making fun of them.
To those readers that have the same unhealthy habit as I do, here's something you do not want to miss. The show that is designed to surgically remove brain cells: Yumeria.
Let's get mining!
Warning: Side affects of this show/review may include drowsiness, a steep decline of IQ, an inability to talk with words over 2 syllables, or the extreme urge to smash your computer.

03/07/2007 12:42 AM ESTKyoushirou to Towa no Sora -- characters and seiyuus, w/pics >>
I've made a page with pics of the ten main characters and their voice actors. This show is just getting better. I'm not sure what it is -- the outlandish story, the good voice-acting, the erotic atmosphere -- but the show has exceeded my expectations. So I wanted to be clear who the voice actors were. And there are some pretty interesting people involved. For instance, Tarlotte is played by Mochizuki Hisayo, the same VA who played Taruto in Magical Mew Mew Taruto (based on another manga by Kaishaku). Tanaka Atsuko, who plays Mika, was in Ghost in the Shell and Evangelion. Ogata Megumi, who plays Valticia, was Sailor Uranus. And, of course, Kaon and Himiko are played by Kawasumi Ayako and Shitaya Noriko, who played Chikane and Himeko in Kannazuki no Miko. I've linked the names to pages with fuller info about each seiyuu and their roles.

I'm sorry for the late review. I'll cover D.Gray-man and Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori as soon as possible after this. I've just been really busy and not in the mood to write any review. Plus, Heroes has been distracting me in the past few days. That last episode was awesome. I want to talk about it but I can't even keep up with my daily blogging task as it is now. Anyway, this is a decent episode as far as animation goes. I think the majority of the time the character design remains consistent. I guess they've recovered their budget after spending so much of it in the new opening/ending on last week's episode. Another thing that impressed me about the technical detail is how quick the pace has been in the past few weeks. At this rate, the writers will really end the first season either in episode 24 or 26.

Hasn’t it been a long-standing unspoken rule that we don’t provide download links in our entries unless we’re providing the content ourselves (like LK’s radio clips, Jeff’s AMVs, etc.)? Has this “download it!” business been around a long time? Am I mada-mada?
Or is this, as I suspect, a complete betrayal?

It's coming. I can almost hear it now, the clacking of keyboards as anime bloggers write up their previews, the cries of 'moe~!' echoing in the night as official websites are updated and character designs revealed. It's an almost electric buzz in the air, like the crackling of electricity before a thunderstorm, growing faster than Keroro's afro as the Earth relentlessly swings around the sun at
