The Organization prepare some new weapons and also prepare against the impending attack from Deneve's group.
Instead of developing a new product, maybe we should just take some of our best old products and put another spin on them. That should save a chunk on R&D costs.
Summary:
At the organization, Rubel visits Dae in his research cave as Dae is working to reanimate the dead bodies of three former No. 1s. Rubel comments that Cassandra, one of the dead No. 1s that Dae is trying avoid died in a similar gruesome way as Miria, but Dae comments that Cassandra's body is still good enough for the project. Another handler arrives and tells Dae to hurry up with the work, but Dae warns if he hurries too much then they'll end up with three more Abyssal Ones instead. The handler then tells Rubel to come along as an emergency summon has been decreed as the research facility on the northern mountains has been attacked.
On the "secret" northern pass, Deneve's group and Anastasia's squad are working together to cut down the Awakened Beings. Tabitha had decided to go after the monster factory first because Miria would have done the same, but on the downside the Organization now knows they are coming. During the battle, Deneve chats with Anastasia, and Anastasia states that she's ready to fight the Organization if they are indeed responsible for creating these Awakened Beings.
Back at Organization HQ, all the Claymores and many handlers have been summoned. One of the handlers explain that a group or rebels are on their way to attacking the headquarters and he orders all the warriors to march to the northern path and kill the rebels. The handler also tell the warriors that Dietrich and Anastasia's group are assumed to have been killed. All the Claymores start moving, but some of them start thinking back to Miria's attack. At the end of the attack, the warriors hacked Miria to a bloody pulp, but they all knew that they haven't dealt the finishing blow. Suddenly, the handlers realize all the warriors have stopped moving, and to the handlers' surprise, a scarred Miria appears and call on the warriors to rebel against the Organization.
Ugh the scar... Scarface Phantom Miria.

Uh... WUT? Okay, I'm not surprised that Miria is still alive and I'm happy she's back since I didn't think Miria would (or want Miria to) die in such a disappointing manner, but I was not expecting that Miria would be walking about, spreading her influence somehow and telling the other warriors to revolt. I can buy that she survived, but she was hacked into a bloody pulp and possibly missing some limbs, so it's a bit hard believe that she managed to recover already. Furthermore, it's even harder to believe that she somehow recovered and wandered about without anyone in the Organization raising an alarm on her. I guess Miria's strength somehow convinced most of the other warriors to shut up, and she could easily evade handlers, but what about the other weapons/projects that the Organization have? It's just a bit of a stretch even for Claymore. The story had better not have Miria explain that she got hacked to a pulp on purpose just to infiltrate the Organization, because that would be terrible. Miria did seem like she was genuinely defeated during her initial attack due to her philosophy of not harming other warriors, so her return probably won't get to that stage of ridiculousness.
On the other front, the Organization is in the process of reanimating three former no. 1s to use as weapons. The Organization probably has plenty of projects, and we'll probably see some of them in action once Deneve's group attack or if Miria can start a revolt. I wonder if Theresa is included in the three no.1s that are being reanimated. Theresa is certainly one of the strongest Claymores to exist in the story (she clearly outclassed non-awakened Priscilla along with every other warrior of her time) and she only got beheaded so putting her body back in one piece probably wasn't that hard. It would be interesting if Clare ever has to face off against zombie Theresa... wait, that's starting to sound like what's going on in Naruto right now... Well, fighting against former teacher-figures could add a lot to the story if it's handled well.
