I've been following Nodame Cantabile since its first season and it's only natural for me to continue watching the series, now well into its third season, ~Finale~. Right now I've just finished watching the fourth episode.Nodame Cantabile ~Finale~ episode four has just made my day. It made me laugh out so hard after having a hectic day in college. As I am on direct download it took me more than a week to finish downloading the episode but I was really worth it - it was really the "medicine" I had needed to cure my headache. I'm just glad that my roommate wasn't in the room when I had laughed or else he would have thought that I have become crazy. lol.The episode basically focuses on Tanya, one of Nodame's many merry friends in France. They're schoolmates and they're also housemates - she lives under the same apartment complex as Nodame, Chiaki and the others. Tanya, whose full name is Tatiana Vishneva, is a blond Russian who plays the piano. According to those in the anime she plays the piano not too well but I can't really differentiate as I am literally tone deaf. Others find her attractive but I find her makeup quite over.The start of the episode started with Chiaki apologizing to Nodame over him not being able to attend her salon performance, although I doubt that Chiaki was even sane at the time he entered Nodame's room as he was obviously drunk after a drink with Viera-sensei. The next morning as Chiaki was making breakfast, Nodame had received calls from people congratulating her on her performance, which made Chiaki seriously jealous. You can literally feel the dark aura emitting from him, awwwwwwwwwwww.... (This is one of my favourite scenes) XDThe story then moved on towards Yun Long and Tanya who both had lost in the same concour. Tanya can be seen from then onwards practicing her piano seriously for her next attempt at another concour (apparantly Yun Ling has also signed up for the same concour).Accordingly, Tanya would have been forced to graduate early in her condition then, and that only if she obtains good result in a concour she would receive scholarship grants and will be able to stay. She didn't want to return to the her cold hometown she she was laughed at for aiming to become a pianist and she doubt that there would be a job for her back at Russia in her state then.Besides that, Tanya was also motivated by a new Japanese girl by the name of Rima. Basically Tanya was unhappy (read: angry) seeing Kuroki (an Oboist who Tanya has liking towards) and Rima very close together. You can see her adding wine into her spaghetti, setting it on fire, to see how angry she was at what she saw. After a clarification from Kuroki the next day that he had been asked to look after Rima by his college professor, Tanya had even offered to let Rima stay at the apartment. As Rima would be taking the entrance exam of the Conservatoire, she would be practicing the piano as well and Yun Long wasn't happy about it, saying that the place is already noisy enough and that with Rima around, it would be even noisier.Rima ended up depressed after listening to others practicing at the apartment. At the end, she failed the entrance exam. This is good news for Tanya as she'll be able to have Kuroki for herself......Hahahahhahaha...
