I hope you’re as pumped as I am, because Sengoku BASARA: The Last Party is just around the corner! Continuing on from where the series left off, the trailer gives hints towards the movie focusing on the four main armies led by Sanada Yukimura, Date Masamune, Tokugawa Ieyasu and Ishida Mitsunari. If you remember the end of the second series, it was Date Masamune that put an end to Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Mitsunari flees the battlefield to come to Hideyoshi’s side. The movie will have Mitsunari finding out Masamune killed his lord and going out for revenge. This is just a little bit different to the story behind Sengoku BASARA 3, where it was actually Ieyasu who killed off Hideyoshi. The main story behind the game essentially revolved around Ieyasu vs Mitsunari, but since the Anime has always been centred around Yukimura and Masamune, they had to change the story a bit. Regardless, this is going to be one action-packed feature. Look forward to it!
