Since there were so many new series coming out, I just can't help going for another one anime series. I the end, I have choosen this anime, Asatte no Houkou, subbed by Lunar. I decided to choose this anime because of the "school" and "fantasy" genre. ...so, how's the anime, you ask. Let me say this: The anime's story is something really fantasy-ish. At first, I felt that it was totally a waste of time watching this anime. Expect something from a 12 year-old girl, who is going to enter middle school soon, to be childish, but doesn't want to be treated like a child, and then more about another young lady who would want to start a new life. I'll just skip blabbering about what's bad about the anime.Karada praying in front of a pile of rocks... himitsu! The anime starts with the girl, Karada-chan, praying to a pile of stones by the road, when a young woman walked by pulling her bicycle. The women stops and started to pray along. Now, here comes Karada-chan's onii-san, Hiro, some fellow who'd resemble Yukito from Air a lot, with his gray, long hair covering his eyes. Coincidently, Hiro comes to know about the young woman. He used to date the women while he was in America fours years ago. Hiro left the young woman to come back to Japan to be with his little sister, and that is why the young woman hated him. She reminds me of Suzuka when she said the words "You're the worst".Long hair covering Hiro's eye...Why'd you leave me alone in America? Is it because of your sister? Why didn't you tell me that you have a sister?!"...it's nice, in a childish way..."...okay, let's just say that I hated the woman. She purposely hurt Karada-chan's feelings by commenting on the pair of ribbons which Hiro bought for her, by saying that it's nice... in a childish way.And yeah, the young women which I have been saying... her name wasn't revealed in this episode.Look carefully... and yes, this is indeed the young women, shrunked. Now, you may ask... why is fantasy one of the genres of this anime while there is nothing to be fantasize about? Oh well... it's just the beginning of the whole story... and somehow, Karada appeared to have become a beautiful bi-shojou, while the young women had shrunk into the size of Karada's. More to come. Expect more from this anime."Want to go to the sea? Everyone's going there on Sunday!""Yo... you're gonna enter middle school soon, and you're still using a life buoy?!"Okay, let's say I got rather hooked on when Karada-chan announced that they would be going to the seaside. Note that the Ocean Festival on the 28th of August is a national holiday of Yamaki's Anime Blog, if you didn't knew about it. :D
