The holy city comes under attack.
Looks like everyone increased their kill-count today.
Summary:
Helen, Denve, Cynthia, Uma and Dietrich head back to Labona only to find the holy city under attack. In the streets, the city's lancers along with Clarice and Miata battle hordes of incoming yoma. On another street, Galatea and Tabitha are faced with a group of Awakened Beings. Tabitha gets tossed through a window, leaving Galatea to fight against several enemies. The numbers game gets Galatea into trouble, but Helen, Deneve and company arrive in time. With everyone's combined efforts, all of the yoma and Awakened Beings are slain. The city suffered a lot of damage and many soldiers were injured, but fortunately none were killed.
After the battle, Helen and Deneve, Uma and Cynthia wonder where Miria went, and Galatea explains that Miria went to take out the Organization on her own, but she failed and probably died, and this attack on Labona was probably a retaliation by the Organization. Galatea and Tabitha then wonder where Clare went, and while Helen, Deneve, Cynthia and Uma are unable to comment, someone comes along that Clare is not dead yet.

Claymore just really loves to leave us hanging, doesn't it? We still don't know what happened with Clare and Priscilla, and now we don't know if Miria really died or not. Sure, it appears she was hacked to pieces, but unless her head shows up on a platter somewhere she's not "officially" dead. Instead, this chapter moves forward and shows Labona being attacked by yoma and Awakened Beings as a result of Miria's failed attempt to one-woman-army her way through the Organization. The action was nice as usual, but the chapter provides no answers and raises even more questions as Helen, Deneve and the others returned instead of staying to watch the titanic struggle between Priscilla and Clare/Rafaela/Luciela. That group didn't explain why they returned to the city, but they probably thought that Clare was done for and watching that battle would be too dangerous. My guess is that the last words in the chapter came from Dietrich, but it could be someone else too. I really want to see how Clare will regain her human form again, but given how the manga is jumping around it'll be a couple of months before we find out the answers.
