The Rafaela/Luciela entity finally awakens; Deneve and Helen meet up with Cynthia and Uma; and Riful and Dauf are confronted by the twins and their Abyss Feeders.Summary:The abandoned castle that was Riful's lair explodes and out of the ruins emerges a presence with an unbelievable amount of youki. In a village not far away, Priscilla comments that the new being is nothing but a messenger of despair, while closer to the ruined castle, Riful now understands why Renee decided to run like hell. Close by, Deneve and Helen are heading straight for the massive yoki presence because Deneve had sensed Clare at that location. Deneve and Helen are in turn detected by Cynthia, who then tells Uma to stop suppressing her youki so Cynthia can regenerate her leg faster. By releasing their youki, Uma and Cynthia made themselves easier to locate for Helen and Deneve, allowing the four of them to quickly meet up. Cynthia uses her powers to heal Helen's eye, and Helen and Deneve decide to go rescue Clare while Uma guards Cynthia who is exhausted from healing the others.A formidable pair of sisters...Inside what used to be the castle, Clare emerges naked from a giant glob of biomass and finds her sword and clothes nearby. Towering over her is the new Rafaela/Luciela entity, an immense Awakened Being shaped like two sister standing back to back.... and another formidable pair of sisters. On a nearby hill, Riful and Dauf are watching the new entity growing larger and larger. Realizing that it's too dangerous to take on the new entity, Riful decides to leave but suddenly she and Dauf are attacked by a pack of Abyss Feeders. Dauf loses his right hand and Riful loses her left arm and part of her skull, but she manages to decapitate several of the attackers. Rather than being intimidated by the Abyss Eater's resiliency, Riful is amused by her enemies, but her expression quickly changes when Alicia and Beth arrive on the scene.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The big bad Rafaela/Luciela monster is finally awake! Unfortunately, it didn't really do much in this chapter other than growing bigger and powering up, but it certainly looks quite impressive. I guess that can be said for most of Yagi-sensei's monsters though (I particularly like Riful's Awakened form… it looks sexier than her human form). Hopefully we'll see the giant monster in action next chapter. So now all of the expected guests have arrived for the big party, except for maybe Priscilla and Raki, but they're not far away. Instead of a big free-for-all, it looks like we'll get two matches separate match-ups first, with the Northern Campaign survivors vs. the new entity, and Riful and Dauf vs. the twins and their Abyss Feeders. For the first match-up, Deneve and Helen are looking at it as a rescue mission, but I'm not sure if Clare wants to leave. And besides, if Clare, with her memory power-up courtesy of Rafaela, can't escape on her own then I'm not sure how much Helen and Deneve can help. For the second fight, things don't look too good for Riful and Dauf. I have my doubts on Dauf handling the Abyss Feeders by himself even though Riful has already killed several, and Riful might not be able to handle Alicia and Beth either. A couple of years ago, Alicia stated that she could only damage Riful down to 50%, but it's probably a different story now. It was a bit surprising how easily Dauf and Riful got jumped by the Abyss Feeders. Even though the Feeders don't emit any youki, Riful should have at least seen them coming, or maybe she was too preoccupied by Rafaela/Luciela. We'll see if the twins and their hounds can snuff out the final Abyssal One, or will Riful find some way to escape or defeat her adversaries. Anyways, the next chapter should be an epic one.As a last note, in the early part of the chapter, Riful seems to be talking as if she had killed Renee, but we didn't see Renee's body anywhere. I'm assuming Renee is still alive and running like hell, but it was kind of weird that Riful would talk that way without having killed Renee first.
