A 72-page vB thread? That's a bit much :P
Anyway, before innovating new moe tournaments we need to fix the gar tournament. It got sent to hell this year with Dio Brando losing out to some Minami-ke pansy, and that's a real mark of shame on... well, everyone.
Fix Saigar!!
Here is the link to the actual tournament which is already in progress. Perhaps this might be easier to follow.

CURRENT MATCH SET:
The Sapphire Necklace is said to hold the foundations of the earth, the land that we walk on at this moment. In other words, it is the floor of life itself. Yet, there are times that earthquakes strike and strike hard, casting judgment on those without discrimination, and to be able to bear the Sapphire necklace and unlock its secrets could either put an end to its judgment or put more lives in danger. To hold control over the soil that begins life itself is a dream for many, yet it is part of the beauty of nature that is contained in this one Sapphire.
However, the one glorious piece that is said to be more beautiful than all seven combined is the tiara waiting at the end, and so far, no one has yet to know any clue about what secrets are contained in there, but its secrets is what drive many to stay in contention as much as possible. We are close to reaching the halfway point in this league, and for some, the journey could soon be impossible, not only to retrieve this year's tiara, but to ever return. For some of those who have not quite the skill to even grab a win, the journey can soon end, and all they can ever hope for is a little bit of luck. Yet the journey will continue, as one hopes to become the International Saimoe Champion.

Believe this: Fate has been on a (15-0) streak since her loss to Yuki in Topaz 6. Tomoyo's only been on a (12-0) streak. Edge? Not quite. Tomoyo has remained the sole 1 loss candidate ever since Amethyst 4, and she has taken out the likes of Haruhi, Yuki, and Shana. Now the question is, will this be one of the biggest upsets in Saimoe history, or will Tomoyo be the dominant candidate in ISML? Can the 2006 Japan semi-finalist finally hand Tomoyo another defeat?

If Hinagiku had a tough time with Fate, she'll have a tough time with a contestant who is (20-0) since losing to Fate. Kagami, who is neck-and-neck with Shana in terms of the all-important vote-differential that has been deciding the fate of the top contestants ever since Shana has been looping around them. But Kagami holds the #2 spot as of now, and if all goes well, she could be the new #1. With Hinagiku slightly in danger of falling out of the top 16, she'll do anything she can to stop Kagami and grab yet another win. Will Hinagiku redeem herself or will she lose yet again to a top contender?

The race for sixteenth place has been tighter than ever, and with a new loop in place, Ayu has been knocked all the way down to 22nd place with her recent losses. To make matters worse, her next opponent has a (14-0) win streak and counting. With C.C. practically riding the pizza delivery, it will take another miracle for Ayu to steal another win. However, in order to have any chance at the top 16, Ayu needs to pull another miracle. Can Ayu pull this off or will C.C. grab another win?

Most of class 3-A have been steadily disappearing off the map ever since their miraculous run in Topaz. However, Evangeline has still managed to keep herself in the top 16. Despite this, she has yet to meet many of the stronger candidates until now. With today's match against Haruhi, Evangeline must pull an upset or be knocked into the bubble for the top 16. But will Haruhi completely stop her or is there an upset in the distance?
