I'm Don, but just about everyone on the web calls me Bata-kun/バタくん. I am from San Jose. Whether or not I end up having a place in Tokyo, I don't know, but I know that I will have a place in Manila later on. Speaking of Tokyo, I will visit there in five months or so.

I believe I encountered Anime Nano thanks to a friend of mine. Right now, I'm hoping that my new blog, Bata-kun no Atarashii Nikki/バタくんの新しい日記, gets accepted into the directory. Yeah.

I generally don't post a lot in forums. I would usually give some sort of news bit, an important private message or something like that. That would be it.

I have been an anime/manga fan for eight years. I like series such as "Love Hina", "Mangetsu o Sagashite", "Fruits Basket", "Great Teacher Onizuka" and "Taiho Shichau Zo". A good amount of the series I like are Kodansha series.

I have been a game fan for so long indicating that yes, I'm old. I am a fan of "Garou Densetsu", "Justice Gakuen", "Eternal Fighter Zero", "Metal Slug", "Puyo Puyo" and a bunch of other games. However, I don't plan on buying another video game system for a while; that is unless NEC somehow gets back into the competition. Oh. I personally own a Dreamcast, a Japanese Playstation 2, a GBA SP which I don't use anymore and the reason why I don't use my SP anymore pretty much: a Nintendo DS Lite.

I'm badger11 and I just recently moved my blog from wordpress.com over to the  Animeblogger.net community. I was pretty much reading most of the blogs there anyway so why not join 'em. My favorite anime is Patlabor but my tastes pretty much run all over the spectrum of shows. 

Darren here. I run a 3-month old anime-blog (Anime2Manga.com). Aside from running this blog, I work full-time as a programmer, play in a band (drummer) but it's just our hobby. Ahem, I'm Nick, and I run the Nick's Anime Weblog.  I know what you're thinking, "Wow, such a unique name!".  Yet, I put some very deep thought into naming my blog.  The blog pretty much formed out of accident while I was messing around with a few web packages.  I found myself just writing stuff about anime, so I bundled the articles I had and started doing the whole blogging thing a few months ago (Around October last year?).  

In terms of anime, I am a Makoto Shinkai and Studio 4℃ fanboy.  My top favorite anime series include The Twelve Kingdoms, Haibane Renmei, Kino's Journey, Berserk, and Planetes, though truthfully, I can enjoy any type of non-hentai and non-ecchi anime.  I've been reading the officially translated novels for several shows, including The Twelve Kingdoms, Crest of the Stars, and Kino no Tabi.

Outside of anime, manga, and novels, I do web programming as my job (which I'll have to get back to after writing this).  My hobbies include ice skating and playing ice hockey (Well, not at the moment as I'm nursing a shoulder injury...).  And you people are making me feel old as I'm nearing 28 years old.

Gack, this came out longer than I expected.  Well, back to work!

But no hentai?  But how can you miss out on the cartoon hijinx of Bible Black?!  The compelling narrative of Akiba-kei Kanojo?!  The light-hearted comedy of Urotsukido--okay I lost my straight-face.

Please note that I didn't say that I didn't watch hentai or ecchi... ;)

First post here as well. I've been watching anime for awhile, but when I started seeing blogs of anime, I did so as well. To be exact, I read Random Curiosity's blog and was inspired to blog as well. So I tried to look as similar to Random Curiosity because... you know how people say "This is good/the best" because that was the first thing they did/saw? Well, yea. That's how I reacted.

Well, hi everybody! I'm Rachel or you can call me shadow22cat. I'm a college student majoring in Anthropology with a focus on Japan. I love most Japanese things, manga, anime, J-horror, music, cooking, language, customs, traditions, comedy, and more. I'm hoping to make a new blog just about my experiences, reviews, and maybe even pics of anime, manga, and anything I get into that's Japanese. I still feel new to this kind of thing, hopefully I can make something fun! Sorry, I don't even know what I'll call it yet.

Oh, I've been playing the clarinet for 13 years. So, music is a huge thing in my life too! I'm also teaching myself Japanese. I already know Hebrew, Yiddish, French, Russian, a bit of Spanish, and more. Languages are just giant puzzles to me, and I like to solve them.

My favorite anime are Fruits Basket, Naruto, and xxxHolic. Well, hopefully that wasn't too long of an intro. Bye!
