I threw myself into UN-GO almost completely blind. Pretty much the only things I knew about it at the beginning was that it was in the Noitamina timeslot and that it was a BONES production with a focus on mystery. FemInga asked me to put this out ASAP! This episode and it’s ending left me more satisfied than I thought I would be. I figured that Rinroku wasn’t really dead but I was genuinely surprised at the revelation of the antagonist: Hayami. I simply regarded him as Izumi’s lackey for pretty much the entire show but he managed to acquire Bettenou for himself and causes a lot of confusion in the past few episodes. Yes, my lordo! Episode 11 It’s a bit funny how one of the most dialogue-filled episodes is also one the most interesting ones. Well, Rider had his epic Noble Phantasm scene so I can’t say there was nothing but dialogue, but still, this little drinking discussion turned out to be incredibly compelling.
