How many fans of troubled boat-bound gambler Kaiji do we have in the house? Canned Dogs reports that Nobuyuki Fukumoto, the mangaka behind Kaiji, will actually be featured in a cameo role in the film. Well, okay, we don't exactly know the role, but since we're not told a character name, I'm guessing it's not major. Judging from the image Canned Dogs has, I'd guess he's one of the men who works for the loan shark Endou-- and he looks good. Totally want to see this movie. And I'm not even that into the series. Honestly, given what I hear about the anime, a movie's pacing might suit the story better. Here's hoping, anyway!
