Tears to TiaraSet in a fictitious land during a medieval-like era of magic and fantasy, Tears to Tiara unfolds with the Divine Empire’s rise to power as it conquers and rules lands far and wide. On the island of Erin, still ruled by the Ancient Kingdom, the Goidelic people are attempting to sacrifice priestess Riannon to revive protagonist and demon king Arawn to lead the resistance against the Empire. Although the ritual fails and Riannon survives, the seal imprisoning the demon king is broken and Arawn is resurrected. Armed with mysterious and devastating powers and a human’s demeanour, Arawn joins Riannon, her brother and battalion commander, Arthur, as well as their team of fighters comprising a swordsman, an archer and a quintet of magical pixies, in the epic struggle against the Divine Empire.Type: TV | Episodes: 26 | Aired: Apr 5, 2009 to Sept 27, 2009 | Genres: Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Romance| Producer: Oriental Light and Magic and WHITE FOX | Main Cast: Makoto Ishii (Arthur), Toru Ohkawa (Arawn) and Yuko Goto (Riannon)Director: Tomoki Kobayashi | Original Creator: AQUAPLUS | Music: Takayuki Hattori | Character Design: Masahiko Nakata [ IMPRESSIONS PER EPISODE AT HYPER PARFAIT ]~*See All Posts Related to this Series*~A very nice series. The characters are all love!!!! My top characters are:PwyllTaliesinArthurArawnWell, they are no in any particular order. They interchange depending on the episode or the role that they are playing. But basically, these four completes my watching experience. The reason why I watched this one is because I can watch the raw episode from Animax. Even though I have very limited Japanese knowledge, I enjoy watching the raw since I get to sleep remembering my four characters together. I am glad I decided to watch this as I liked it so much!Animation is so great! I like the coloring style and the drawing of the characters especially during colorful scenes! I really love the colors used. They are so striking to the eyes and it would really caught your attention. What I also find interesting about Tiara is its naming convention. They are weirdest name I have ever heard in a series. Names such as Drwc and Dywrynn is a real challenge to read. The vowel-less words are really weird to read and I find it hard to remember the spelling. But since I've been blogging about this for about 26 episodes, I eventually remembered the names and the spellings.Overall, this is another great series for me! It might just be a typical fantasy series but the characters are uniquely great amd amazing!
