Led by a knife wielding air bender named Volken, the Armed Librarians slice their enemies, freeing the captured “Meats”. After a deadly explosion aboard the Church’s cargo boat, it is apparent that the humans have no intention of saving themselves. This bothers Volken who takes their deaths to heart. While there seems to be more to this series than meets the eyes, this fact isn’t made clear in the first episode of The Book of Banotrra.
