I've made one for Blue Literature . . . why not make the same for the other anime I'm watching in the current season? Hehe. This may be a little late for a preview but . . . well, better late than never~A lot of people got confused upon watching the first episode of this series because of the many things that aren't clear about it. I'm not exactly an expert of this series since I haven't read the novel, but I've been looking and asking around and found interesting information about it. I hope the Bantorra overviews/previews/explanations/spoilers that I'll be doing will be helpful to everyone~For the first part, let's just look at the series in general:The Tatakau Shisho (Armed Librarians) series is a collection of Japanese light novels by Ishio Yamagata, with illustrations by Shigeki Maeshima. The series started with the release of the first volume on September 22, 2005, and as of April 30, 2008, nine volumes have been published by Shueisha under their Super Dash Bunko label.A seinen manga adaptation by Kokonotsu Shinohara started serialization in Shueisha's web comic magazine Ultra Jump Egg in March, 2008. It was entitled "Tatakau Shisho to Koisuru Bakudan". There are two volumes released so far:An anime adaptation was aired recently. The opening theme is "Datengoku Sensen" by ALI PROJECT and the ending theme is "Light of dawn" by Annabel. The Anime Staff:Original Work: Yamagata IshioOriginal Illustration Work: Maeshima ShigekiDirector: Shinohara ToshiyaSeries Composition: Okada MariCharacter Design: Yamada MasakiProp Design: Hashimoto HidekiArt Director: Ikeda ShigemiAnimation Production: David ProductionThe Anime Cast:Hamyuts: Park RomiMatto Arasuto: Ookawa TooruMirepocu: Sawashiro MiyukiNoloty: Tomatsu HarukaVolken: Nakamura YuuichiColio: Irino MiyuMokkania: Ishida AkiraThe first episode aired last October 2, 2009 and it has been licensed by Crunchyroll. The general plot of this fantasy series:In a world where dead people turn into books and are stored in the Bantorra Library where anyone who reads a book can learn their past. Bantorra Library is maintained by Armed Librarians who wield psychic powers and their enemy is a religious society known as Sindeki Kyoudan.Anyone could read the past of a dead person as they touch that dead person's book. The story inserts a lot of flashbacks, because of the nature of the book in this world. This series is mainly about the war and conflict between the Armed Librarians and the Sindeki Kyoudan. Every volume is about one of their battles. When a battle is over, they move to the next one. Each volume also focuses on a different set of main characters, and they tell a part of the story, little by little revealing the mysteries behind it Characters that star in each volume can be either a member of the Armed Librarians or the Sindeki Kyoudan. The POV's change rapidly between the two sides and with different characters. There's a lot of mystery in this series and many things aren't what they seem to be. Read and watch more to find out! That's it for the general overview, a story focus up next~Credits:~ big thanks to kemal_1915 for helping me with this postSources:~ Anime News Network~ Animesuki Forums~ Shueisha~ Wikipedia
