This gave me a very unusual battle (much more on its outcome). It also gave me an amazing love story between two people from different time periods. More importantly, this episode showed my top two favorite characters in their rare expressions. And the story gets even better! How could I not love this episode???!!! Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!![ BATTLE ]We have a Hamyuts versus Cigal battle. I'm not that impressed with most of the battle scenes (I'm not referring to the action moves though, more on the parts when the characters get hurt. It just felt . . .I dunno . . .so fake?) but it's not that bad.I like it that even though Cigal is not exactly the top boss, he's a match to Hamyuts. Even without the storm and disease, and also as long as he uses that weapon. I didn't realize that he was using Shiron's sword until now.Hamyuts boasting and being so unthreatened with Cigal makes you feel that she's still powerful enough to take him down despite those disadvantages. But it turns out that she's really being beaten up! I believe she just acts that way because she really can't imagine for someone like Cigal to be at the upper hand. I like it that we get to see the most powerful armed librarian to be seen being slowly defeated as early as this episode![ DEATH ]End result of the battle was Cigal dying. Hamyuts finished him off but the actual fatal attack was done by none other than Colio, a mere Meat. I really love it that a powerful character was defeated by a weak one! And it was no stupid miracle or luck! It was proper timing and it was actually planned! There was an old guy who took Cigal's book. He's like this world's version of a shinigami. Unlike what Cigal wanted, his book had looked ugly.[ LOVE ]Anyway, Colio fought Cigal mainly because Shiron fell in love with him when he did. She had also done the same, because he had fallen in love with her after seeing her fight. They fell in love with each other for a similar reason . . . and they fought a similar enemy . . . and they see each other as strong and wondrous individuals by simply doing that.Oh my love story . . . .I have seen a lot of romances wherein the lovers are from different time periods, but this is the first one that I've encountered that haven't exactly met each other. And they are already satisfied by just thinking of the fact of watching the same sunset. It was enough to make them happy. Oh you darlings!!!!They are so sweet that it makes me so sad that they aren't in the same time period. I really wish they get reincarnated at the same time or something and be together already. Still loving each other even in another life . . . how romantic~So sad that such a sweet love story already ended in this arc. Yeah, they only show up in this arc. Makes me so so so so so so sad.Ah well, at least there's my other OTP to cheer me up:[ OTP ]When I saw that Mattalast is finally doing fine, I wondered where Mirepocu was. I was glad that Volken also looked for her! Hahahahaha! And I was so DELIGHTED when I saw him visiting her~ I found it cute when Mirepocu blurted out that she got addicted to the honey she's eating for the cough. He asked her how she was doing and was grateful that she didn't have scars. (Oh you'll still love her even if she will have such~) And then he suddenly leaves. Mirepocu called up to him, I know she wants to spend more time with him (Ohohoho~) but he's an idiot for not staying longer but at least he left her a present (Mirepocu's favorite book perhaps?).[ KYAA ]Greatest fanservice for me in this episode:VOLKEN SMILING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HE FINALLY SMILED!!!!!!!!! KYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!AND HE IS OH SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND HE SMILED TO HER!!!!!!!FIRST TIME I SEE MY BISHIE SMILE AND IT'S ALSO ON MY OTP!!!!!!!!SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Okay, it looks like Volken will be getting more screentime next episode~ I don't know why the heck he stole it, but it sure smelled trouble. Next episode seems be interesting and action-packed! Yay!
