Kodansha’s Evening magazine has just
announced
that
Moyashimon: Tales of Agriculture
will be getting a live-action television adaptation sometime in 2010. This will be the first live-action show to air on Fuji TV’s popular late-night Noitamina time slot; and we all know how well that worked for Adult Swim. Either way, this television show will be filled to the brim with super cute CG bacteria and viruses, kind of like... the opening of the anime! If they can keep the same quality of animation in the television show as they do in the opening, this shouldn’t be all that bad.
A college student who figures out he can communicate with single celled organisms, despite this crazy power this show is pretty normal. Which makes it a perfect candidate for a live-action television show. What do you think?
