Thanks to Hi no Ken Jebus.Yamato asked of the reason since she told him that she didnt hate him. She said that their relationship will end up similar to before. They would fight over something irrelevant and she might end up hating or disliking him. Thus, in order to avoid that, she rather stayed as friends. Yamato pestered for a better reason since he couldn't accept it. Suzuka asked him to go back as she didn't want to start fighting over it. Yamato refused and continued to ask her until his stomach growled. He said that they would talk after dinner when he calmed down.After dinner, Suzuka said that it'd be the same and there was no use talking about it. Yamato told her that it'd be different and he's confident of that. Suzuka insisted that it'd end the same way while Yamato persisted. Suzuka then told him, "Please understand, Let's be friends". Yamato then thought it's useless and probably better to be friends. The chapter ended with Yamato hugging him from behind.P/S: This reason I accept. It's logical since she didnt want to end up fighting again and this also happen in real life. Wonder if Yamato would get a slap for hugging. Last time he got more than a slap for kissing her.
