We all know of the new Code Geass anime that will be coming sometime in the future, but according to the producer of Code Geass Yoshitaka Kawaguchi, this is only the beginning. In the February issue of Newtype, he stated that the anime is only part of the “New code Geass Project”. Kawaguchi and the director of the anime Goro Taniguchi also expressed interest in a stage or musical version of the franchise. This is all speculation at this point, because he was vibrant in pointing out that he hasn’t announced anything for the “New Code Geass Project”. What is known is that there is going to be a new manga by Tomomasa Takuma tentatively titled Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya, which will take place in the same world as the anime, but during the Edo era.
