The first episode has finally aired! I have seen the raw of course but I decided to wait for the subs before making an episode post because I think I'll have much more to say when I see it subbed (I think the anime has changed parts).Besides, I already have a lot to say on the OP and ED themes alone~ I've seen the other OP and ED themes of other anime that have aired this season, but DRRR!!'s the only ones that had been BEYOND AWESOME![ GENERAL THOUGHTS ]I think video streaming sites have blocked uploads of OP and ED themes of this series, but you can list to both of them here.I loooooooove the beat in the opening theme. The vocals are okay, but I wish they picked a better voice.Shortest way to describe the opening theme song: IT ROCKED!!!!I also looooooooooove the fast Jpop tune in the ending theme. Not to mention the voice of the singer is so lovely~ Makes me tantalized~ The tune's so addicting.Shortest way to describe the ending theme song: IT WAS SO COOL!!!With the visuals, the style in the opening sequence is actually good if only it didn't include the character stills in the same manner as Baccano had. It's like screaming: "HEY! I'M BACCANO JUNIOR!" I don't like the idea of DRRR being a Baccano wannabe, even if it's its successor. DRRR can be awesome with a new style, which I'm grateful the ending sequence has shown! But I'm happy that there are vocals in the opening sequence of this series, and they are right on time with the actions of the characters on the screen. I find that cool.With the ending sequence, simply beautiful and creative!!!! I love how the characters have been connected in that manner, and there had been like a raindrop effect with the picture changing in colors/saturation/hue/whatever. That was really really fantastic! I like it very much![ CHARACTERS IN THE OP THEME ]So we have 15 main characters in this series huh. You may have noticed that one of them doesn't have a name. Too spoilery I guess? SO my favorite characters having such a bg delights me even more. It's like they did that on purpose to please me. Haha!I love it how he evaded that vending machine so easily~Oh yeah, my dear Izaya's in the episode (BUT IT WAS REALLY REALLY SHORT DAMN IT!) but since he's there, it's something highly to look forward to.
