I've sometimes seen people posit, in situations such as this one, that when we are young and small, everything in the world seems huge; that it's only when we grow older that the world turns out to be tiny. I don't think this is true. The world is never small - we just forget that it is large. People have a tendency to simply shrink the world in their mind - they loose their curiosity and start focusing on their personal bubble, a little world carved of the things they care about that encompasses their perception. I'm telling you this now so that I can try and fully explain my thoughts on the amazing character Hiiragi.
