As some of you may have heard Baka-Tsuki, the only fan translation group of the Haruhi Suzumiya light novels, has ceased the English translation project on its website. On January 20, 2010, the English copyright holder Hachette Book Group sent a request to Baka-Tsuki to remove all infringing materials, this included both the Haruhi Suzumiya and Spice and Wolf translation projects; however non-English translations of the books are still available.
