20th Century Boys Not too terribly long ago I reported on VIZ Cinema's take two on the Gurren Lagann movie double-feature screening, which will repeat this February. But it turns out that a few other big names are going to be shown at the New People center: Death Note and the second 20th Century Boys film! Now, I've seen all the Death Note movies, but somehow I suspect we might want to take AHR to the Death Note movie marathon on January 30th, which features Death Note and Death Note: The Last Name (but not L: Change the WorLd). If you've been listening to the Squadcast, you know why! Tickets are $15 to see both films, or presumably $10 to see one. And then on February 9th we'll get to see the second of the 20th Century Boys film trilogy. John and I went to see the first (which is currently out on DVD) and really dug it, so you can be we'll be back for the second-- which is being screened to promote ITS DVD release, due February 16th. $10 tickets are available, but if you buy the special $25 ticket you also get a copy of the DVD and a pin, which is a pretty good deal.
