Not only does Japan need more babies in the up coming years, they also need money. A great way to make this money is through tourism. JNTO, the Japan National Tourism Organization decided to help attract tourists by making an Evangelion themed map for the town of Hakone. They previously had a Japanese version of this map, but now decided to create an English version as well, to attract all of us Otaku. This map, rightfully named, “Evangelion Hakone Instrumentality Map: English Version” will feature points of interest for overseas anime fans, all in glorious English. Why Hakone? According to Gainax, Tokyo-3 was actually placed in the Hakone area. Which means that you will walk on the ground that Rei walked on, and sleep on the bed Shinji never wept on, amazing!
