Mina intends to make you wait. Word from AT-X, via the Yunakiti blog, via Rakuga Kidou, is that the eighth episode of loli vampire drama Dance in the Vampire Bund-- from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei/Bakemonogatari helmer Akiyuki Shinbo and studio Shaft --has been postponed. Instead, a special compilation episode will be aired. The week after that, the series will return to its regular broadcast schedule without interruption...at least until the last episode of the series, #12, which will air on the first and fifth of April, rather than on the fourth, when it would otherwise have aired. Yunakiti's response: "?" Which is more or less the same as mine. AT-X does not address why the episode is being postponed, but the comments on the Yunakiti blog more or less follow with my guesses: either Shaft is a bit late on the episode (and at least one comment offers that Shaft is awesome for not just airing a lower-quality version of the episode and fixing it for DVD), or that AT-X's restrictions on the content are forcing a delay. Either way, the loli witch fans will have to wait another week for a new story!
