Instead of getting a real second season, or third season we are all waiting for, Lucky Star has to be different. Instead of an animated show, they give us a live-action show. Instead of it being an awesome live-action show featuring real girl look-alikes, they give us a show about the voice actors riding go-carts. Truth is stranger than fiction my friends. Let me be the first to present you to Lucky Racer, a Lucky Star spinoff series featuring Minoru Shiraishi. Basically the cast and the staff will race each other on go-carts during the show. The winner will then be able to debut products or publicize themselves. Which to me sounds like they will get some free screen time to do whatever they want. This show will make its wonderful debut on the 3rd of April, which is too close to the 1st of April for my tastes. Either way, don’t expect to see this here in America. [Via ANN]
