Oh, Warner Brothers, you're at it again! The studio, already developing Akira and, last we heard, a Death Note flick as well, has now revealed that they're going to try putting together a live-action Bleach film. They've already got a producer tentatively on board: Peter Segal, director of such cinematic masterpieces as Nutty Professor II: The Klumps and 50 First Dates. (Thankfully, if he's brought on, Segal will only produce-- not direct. Apparently he's "seeking to expand his portfolio" by "taking on darker, more action-oriented material." Oof.) Hm. Well. Bleach, huh? I don't think I have any particular casting memes to latch onto there, unlike Zac Efron for Kira. As long as it's not Carrot Top, I suppose...
