Aizen wins and leaves.
Nobody is going to keep me covered-up.
Summary:
Isshin hits Aizen with the Getsuga Tenshou, but Aizen recovers and decides to get a little more serious. Not far away, Ichigo hears the explosions nearby, but Gin tells Ichigo that he should pay attention to the fight at hand. Gin then goes on to tell Ichigo that he sucks right now and is not worth Aizen's time. Suddenly, Aizen appears behind Ichigo, and Ichigo can see Isshin, Urahara, and Yoruichi laying helpless among the rubble nearby. Having completed his chrysalis stage, Aizen takes off his paper bag mask and reveals that he has black eyes (like Ichigo with the mask) and a new longer hairstyle. Aizen and Gin then leave for real Karakura Town through a senkai gate, and Aizen states that he'll come back to deal with Ichigo later. After Aizen and Gin leave, Isshin wakes up again and bids Ichigo to go after Aizen and protect Karakura Town.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kubo has finally decided to move on with the story. When Bleach decides to get going, it gets going really fast; so fast that we didn't even see what Aizen did to beat up Urahara, Yoruichi and Isshin. The transition is way too abrupt, but at least it should spell the end of the super slow chapters for a little while. Aizen's new transformation was... not all that dramatic, which might be a good thing. The paper bag head look was boring at best, laughable at worst.
As expected, the war will move towards the Soul Society so Aizen can have proceed with whatever plan he had in mind. Obviously, it was stupid for Aizen to let Ichigo and the other live, but Aizen has not acted very intelligently in the last 50 or so chapters anyways. Or maybe Aizen left Ichigo alive and well on purpose... Anyways, Ichigo is no match for anybody at this point, so someone or Ichigo himself will probably have to die or almost die so that Ichigo can receive his inexplicable power-up. Will probably happen in another 50 chapters.
