Minato calls his mom for help with Operation Save Uzume. Is that Justin Bieber on the phone? Give me the phone! Summary: At MBI HQ, Minaka and Takama have a discussion about the jinkis, and the subject turns to the jinki Matsu stole and eventually leads to Izumo Inn. Minaka and Takama know that the jinki is at Izumo Inn, but they can't attack directly due to various reasons. Minaka also mentions that it's interesting that Minato is now staying at the inn which also embodies the spirit of his old colleague Takehito Asama. Minaka then goes on talking about some predestined father vs. son battle, but he ends up getting smacked by Takama. At this moment, Takama's phone rings and it is a call from Minato. At Izumo Inn, Tsukiumi has finished her bath. While walking in the hallways, Tsukiumi spots Miya sitting in front of a jinki, and suddenly Tsukiumi sees a vision of Miya (both naked and wearing Disciplinary Squad uniform) asking her to become stronger so she can protect herself and her loved ones. Tsukiumi is snapped out of the vision by Miya who tells Tsukiumi to get everyone together for dinner and to put the jinki (which Homura had asked Miya to keep an eye on) back to its usual spot. Meanwhile, Takama explains to Minato over the phone that MBI may have the experimental drug to save Uzume's Ashikabi Chiho, but the problem is Chiho is staying at an Izumi hospital and the Izumi group has always been on bad terms with MBI. As Takama is about to list more reasons why Minato's plan can't work, Minaka snatches away Takama's phone and tells Minato that he will treat Chiho if Minato can bring Chiho to MBI HQ. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ That was a nice month and a half between chapters. I had to read my old posts to remember what's been going on in the last few chapters. Anyways, congratulation to Sekirei for finally reaching the century mark. Not that much actually happens in this 100th chapter, but there were a lot of hints being tossed around about Minaka and Miya's identities. Minaka's little speech about father-son battles probably lends more support to the not-so-secret fact that Minaka is Minato's dad ( although Takama doesn't want to admit it). The other hints about Miya are more interesting. There is nothing conclusive, but it seems that Miya may very well be the full grown specimen found in the spaceship (#00) and she has a very close connection with the jinkis. Miya's past is a significant element of the story, and I'm looking forward to when her story is unveiled (might be a long time though). Moving to actual developments, Minato called Mom for a little bit of help, and Dad (strongly hinted, but not confirmed) took over and asked Minato to bring Chiho to MBI. That should set the story up for Minato's crew to go to Higa's hospital and kidnap rescue Chiho. I'm hoping that along the way Higa will bring out Yukari as well just to make the party even more exciting.
