Continuing with the story of how the demon fox attacked Konoha. Finally... I can get some fresh air and stretch out my legs! Summary: Madara has the newborn Naruto in his hands and demands Minato leave Kushina. Minato manages to grab Naruto from Madara using his renowned speed, but Madara forces Minato to leave the cave with explosive tags planted on Naruto's blanket. Minato settles Naruto to a safe room and then heads off to rescue Kushina. Meanwhile, Madara has brought Kushina to an altar and uses his Sharingan to release the nine-tails. Due to her lineage, Kushina is still barely alive after the nine-tails was ripped out of her. The fox turns to crush Kushina, but Minato arrives in time to whisk Kushina away. Minato brings Kushina back to the safe room to be with Naruto and then he heads off to stop the demon fox. Back in Konoha, a young Itachi suddenly has a bad feeling. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The flashback is going in the expected direction so far without any big surprises so far. Madara steals Kushina away and releases the fox, and Minato could only save his wife and child. Minato brought Kushina and Naruto to a safe location somewhere, but they will be dragged into the battle at the village somehow. I found the last panel with Itachi (carrying Sasuke) to be interesting, because I wonder if we'll also find out the root of Itachi's behavior during the series.
