The free-for-all for Homura begins.
Man-boobs might be just as good as regular boobs.
Took you long enough to figure it out.
Maybe a bit of BL is in the works?
Summary:
Minato tries to talk to Kagari, but Homura/Kagari leaves through his room's window to go after Minaka. Minato stumbles into the room to find Kagari's phone with his mother Takami calling, and Takami tells Minato to stop Homura. Meanwhile, Tsukiumi finally figures out that Kagari and Homura are one and the same. Minato and all five of his Sekirei hold a meeting and the group agrees to go after Homura and let Minato wing him. Matsu has already foreseen this turn of events and has planted a tracking bug on Homura, and Minato and his other four Sekireis are quickly on their way. Just as Minato's group leaves the inn, Seo and his two Sekirei arrive to beg for food, and Seo, Matsu and Miya chat about the Sekirei Plan.
With this kind of motivation, there's no question Minato will get the job done.
Good strategy there calling a time-out for an opponent's wardrobe problems while you were getting beaten up.
In the city, Homura is running towards MBI HQ when he is intercepted by Akitsu with Mikogami and Mutsu watching nearby. Homura and Akitsu engage in a fierce battle where Akitsu gains the upper hand. As Homura calls time-out to point out that Akitsu is not wearing any panties, Uzume arrives and inserts herself into the battle. While Uzume and Akitsu are busy fighting, Homura is slowly fading and losing control of his powers. At the same time, another Ashikabi has arrived nearby and various other groups including Minato's are heading towards the battle.
Ice vs. Cloth... that's an interesting match-up.
I need Tsukiumi... or a bottle of Nestea.

The sweepstakes for Homura finally begins this week. The action scenes in the last third of the episode were pretty decent, although for some reason I had an urge to chuckle whenever they did the "flashing blobs clashing in mid-air" type of action. However, most of this episode was set aside for build-up and the build-up was pretty slow. I don't remember if Minato's group too that long to deliberate on their decision to save Homura (it probably took a chapter or two), but I felt the meeting was too long. Tsukiumi had a few amusing moments in the first 2/3 of the episode which kept things from bogging down too much, but everything before the action still felt slow. As the Sekirei manga takes a long time to set up for anything, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. On the bright side, an episode without too many developments means that I don't have to spend as much time writing the summary...
Another thing that stood out about this episode was how many times Minato screamed through the whole thing. The guy might be one of the most powerful Ashikabis in the game, but he is still a wussy at heart lol. The screaming became slightly annoying during the episode because of the frequency and the pitch of Minato's voice, but things will be better once Minato mans up a bit in the next episode or two.
Looks like the main part of the action of Homura's mini-arc will be next week. Since the episode will be action and "important" drama, it should be more exciting than this or last week's episodes.
