The ramen guy wants to hire Ichigo for a job. If you wanted the ramen, you should have said so. Summary: At the front gate of Ichigo's high school, Orihime arrives wondering what happened to Ichigo, and Ishida explains that Ichigo has been taken away by his boss to work. Orihime then runs off to work but before leaving she notes that things around Ichigo have been feeling strange lately. Ishida silently agrees and feels that Ichigo may actually have some reiatsu. At Ikumi's shop, the ramen guy starts eating the bowl of ramen because of Ichigo won't eat it. When asked by Ichigo and Ikumi, the guy explains that he wants Ichigo to run on a background check on Isshin. Ichigo is apprehensive and demands to know what the ramen guy wants, but the ramen guy states that Ichigo doesn't know enough about his own family to answer. Meanwhile, Karin pays a visit to Urahara's shop. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The current story arc is still in the process of setting up, but things are becoming more interesting. It sounds like we might learn more about Isshin's history and Ichigo's family in this arc, and that sounds promising. Isshin obviously has a lot of hidden history that's just begging to be revealed, and it'll also be interesting to see what the ramen guy wants with Ichigo's family. The guy is definitely trying to mess with Ichigo. Let's hope that this arc actually ends up being decent from a storyline perspective. Lastly, I wonder what Karin wants with Urahara's shop. Does this mean she'll follow her brother's footsteps? She can see ghosts pretty well these days, so is becoming a shinigami somewhere down the line? From the feed of A Product of Wasted Time
