Welcome again, This time I'll try to talk about something highly dangerous these days...something people would kill for without hesitation... IMOUTOS! Yes, it may have shocked you, but today we'll review the light novel/manga/anime called "Ore no imouto ga konna ni kawaii wake ga nai" that aired recently on tv! Let's start with the classic synopsys : Kyōsuke Kōsaka, a normal 17-year-old high school student living in Chiba, has not got along with his younger sister Kirino in years. For longer than he can remember, Kirino has ignored his comings and goings and looked at him with spurning eyes. It seemed as if the relationship between Kyōsuke and his sister, now fourteen, would continue this way forever. One day however, Kyōsuke finds a DVD case of a magical girl anime which had fallen in his house's entrance way. To Kyōsuke's surprise, he finds a hidden adult game inside the case and he soon learns that both the DVD and the game belong to Kirino. That night, Kirino brings Kyōsuke to her room and reveals herself to be an otaku with an extensive collection of moe anime and younger sister-themed adult games she has been collecting in secret. Kyōsuke quickly becomes Kirino's confidant for her secret hobby. Yeah, this seems to be picked up right from a erogè. But well, nevertheless the story is well played through all the series, there are a couple of hiccup as sometimes the story seems to be dragging up too long. The characters are likable and well characterized, I'm totally in love with both Kuroneko (Ruri) and Manami. (I can't decide between the two )  Kirino? No, please she's so bitchy in each and every episode that I really wanted to smack something at the monitor sometimes... The seiyuu that worked for this anime are rather new (except for some famous one), but done a good job impersonating their character. The OP from Claris was decent, I don't even remember the ED (and that's bad ) Summing up we have here a good example of nicely done anime produced with high quality with a wrong main character. I promote a new adaptation called "Ore no kuroneko ga konna ni kawaii wake ga nai"! Who's with me?! Concluding, this is a suggested anime to watch, and a good one also for introducing someone to anime. (rather mild fanservice) But try to restraint yourself from smacking your monitor! Ok?! If she was always silent probably she would have been a fantastic character!!! See you soon, feal87 P.S. I'll probably do another post about this series later on, so keep an eye. ;)
