Hello again,
Here we are for starting the review of another Light Novel/Manga/Anime that I watched in the recent year. It's name is Kampfer (don't ask me to write with that fricking german accent , where is on the keyboard anyway?!) and is written by Toshihiko Tsukiji.
Let's start up with a quick synopsys from wikipedia :
The plot revolves around Natsuru Senō, a normal high school boy with blue hair. One day he wakes up to find himself turned into a girl. A stuffed tiger "Harakiri Tora" comes to life and tells him that he has been chosen as one of the "Kämpfer", a female fighter. The Kämpfer are destined to fight with other Kämpfer. The story starts when he is attacked by an unknown girl who happens to also be a Kämpfer.
No, there isn't much originality in the plot, but nevertheless the story doesn't get boring soon. The story mostly has continuity and there are not many filler episodes. (and this is a GOOD thing. I hate, as I already said, episodic series)
The characters are likable, I especially like the main character behaviour! The girls are nice...but many of them are a little too bitchy in my opinion. There isn't much growth showed in the anime, but this is not necessarily a bad thing. (their behaviour is already well defined)
The seiyuu that impersonated the characters in this series are VERY famous. We have seiyuu like Marina Inoue, Yui Horie, Megumi Nakajima.
OP and ED are decent. Liked quite a bit the ED. (especially for the animation)
Concluding, this is a nice anime to watch when you want to get relaxed, and probably a nice pick to introduce someone to the anime world. (the fanservice while high, isn't disturbing as some other anime)
This ia anyway another series that is in my "I have to get at least the manga" list, so expect more post for it in the future!
See you later,

P.S. My favourite girl is...Akane Mishima, but only in her normal form.
