Hello, Like i promised on Twitter, this will be an hawt review. This time we'll be reviewing a "battle" manga/anime series currently on air in Japan called Freezing (written by a Korean mangaka named Dall-Young Lim).   Let's start with a synopsys: Set in a slightly futuristic world, Earth has been invaded and is at war with aliens from another dimension called the Nova. In order to counter them, Pandoras and Limiters, genetically modified girls with super fighting skills and their male partners who use special "freezing" powers to limit their opponent's mobility, are made to fight against the Nova. The series focuses on Kazuya Aoi, a Limiter whose late sister was a Pandora, and Satellizer el Bridget, a powerful Pandora with a cold personality, both who are enrolled at the West Genetics Academy, one of the many academies where Pandoras and Limiters are trained. In spite of the warnings of all his friends about Satellizer, who has intense aphephobia, Kazuya decides to be her friend and Limiter. The story follows Kazuya's friendship with Satellizer, the students of the Academy and Earth's war against the Nova. Yeah, the story sounds good and enough interesting...at least if you didn't really watched the anime. From the few (four) episodes I've watched, I can categorize this series as a futuristic Queen's Blade...if you catch my meaning.  Girls fight each other in a school made only to prepare warriors to fight against aliens invader...obviously during the fight the clothes of the girls get destroyed piece after piece leaving them mostly naked. That is Freezing for you. The characters are mostly flat till now, and the main lead is an emo (similiar to the Dragon Crisis one) and every action he will make gives you unnatural rage against your monitor. The girls are pretty (well that's the sell of the series) and are dubbed by high-level seiyuu (Mamiko Noto, Kana Hanazawa, etc..) and that's a plus for this series. OP and ED animation and song are decent, but nothing to be really happy for, while the in-anime soundtrack is quite good and the voice acting wonderful (why are they using such high-level seiyuu on such a no real story anime like this?! ) Concluding, I may decide to pick up the manga of this series, but I'm not really sure so I'll wait for the run to end to see if it gets any better along the way. For those who are wondering if to watch the anime...well if you liked Queen's blade or Seikon no Qwaser you'll like this, otherwise stay away.   See ya, feal87 P.S. Yes, the writer should have some kind of complex with big balls judging from the average size through the anime.
