The Shinobi army takes on Kakuzu, Dan, and Asuma in the beach battle while Kankuro's ambush squad gets some help against pursuing zombies. There is the age old question regarding ninjas vs. pirates, but what about ninjas vs. samurais? Summary: Darui seals Kinkaku into the pot, but he wonders where the Banana fan went. Meanwhile, Ino-Shika-Cho face off against Kakuzu who has gathered five hearts, and Kakuzu also calls on Dan and Asuma for help. Chouza arrives to face Dan while Izumo and Kotetsu arrive to stop Kakuzu. Using the mind link technique, Shikaku tells Ino-Shika-Cho to face Asuma and leave Kakuzu to Kotetsu, Izumo and Darui. after a brief discussion, Ino-Shika-Cho agree to face their master. Meanwhile in the forest, Kankuro's ambush squad is running away from the zombie squad of Chuukichi, Hanzo, Chiyo and Kimimaro. The zombies get close enough and Hanzo summons his salamander and covers the area in paralyzing poison gas. Kankuro's squad is hit and is rendered helpless, but suddenly Mifune appears to engage Hanzo. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Kin-Gin brothers are done, but there are still plenty of zombies for the Shinobi army to deal with, and so the war continues again with supporting characters doing the fighting. Ino-Shika-Cho finally face off against Asuma, but the fact that the kids already know that are facing off against their former teacher takes away from the drama a bit. It'd be more emotional if Ino-Shika-Cho didn't know Asuma was revived and run into him on the battlefield. With so many zombies and so many side characters needing some spotlight, it seems like it'll be even longer before Naruto or Sasuke will show up in the battles. In the meantime, I want to see some notable named characters dying in the battle. It wouldn't be a war without some tragedy. From the feed of A Product of Wasted Time
