Like it or not, the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise is one of the most successful ones in anime today, with a huge cultural impact and the honor of being an internet phenomenon. With two (well, one and a half, really) seasons, one movie and a spin-off already being released, KyoAni decided to shut the doors on this highly successful venture.
