It was announced throughout Japan that the TOHO Cinemas will premiere the K-ON! film screenings in all of its theatres. With that being said, TOHO Cinema is now claiming that they are the first in Japan to show the earliest showings of the anime film along with Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance in 2009
