It was announced on the Bessatsu Shonen Magazine that the upcoming television anime adaptation of Sankarea will premiere in Japan in Spring 2012. The magazine has also revealed character designs for the upcoming anime series, as well as information that the anime adaptation will air on the Japanese TBS and BS-TBS television broadcasting station.
