You’re looking at two arcs: Wein’s (this) and Naoko’s (to becontinued next episode). Wein’s arc is like Goldilocks: Just right. Just right for your fellow Akibaranger fan to flow himself with his super sentai feels. What surprised me here is that (1) the hero stint gets real and (2) Wakana doing a falsetto. Oh wait, I shouldn’t be surprised, because Ayahi Takagaki, who voiced Wakana, was once an Opera actress. Now go forth and make that song, Wakana! For the club! Naoko’s basically a forty-something tsundere vice principal who. like Wakana way back then,  has not moved on from Mahiru’s demise.  The next episode ought to be Naoko’s arc. It ought to be. Or else.
