I really wasn’t sure what to expect when I first learned of Tsuritama. It looked fun and quirky, so I gave it a shot. And as it turned out, it wasn’t just fun and quirky–it also had a TON of heart. Tsuritama very quickly became the anime I looked forward to the most each week, and (in my opinion) is a very strong contender for best anime of the year.
