The first episode of Kotoura-san was a big surprise. I expected a light comedy and got some fairly heavy drama, about a little girl who unintentionally drove her parents away and wrecked their marriage by the fact that she could read all their thoughts and innocently exposed them.The show has settled down into that romantic comedy I expected, but continues to give us some depth of feeling, too.Kanemoto Hisako does a nice job of the protagonist, as she does of Himeka in OreShura. Hanazawa Kana gives us yet another good version of her voice, as the determined president of the ESP society. And model/actress Kubo Yurika shows that her performance as Hanayo in Love Live! is no fluke. She can actually do this stuff.Click here or on the image to go to the full page:
