Shugo Chara Episode 1 – The Birth of Shugo Chara! I’ve been keeping an eye out for this anime ever since I read the manga, which I loved because of the shoujo elements I’ve been deprived of as of late. The bishies and the waff, especially. This is like the only shoujo anime in the fall lineup, which is obviously catered for fangirls who like cute stuff, nekomimi guys, and mahou shoujo. Beneath the saccharine shoujo bias however, guys and girls alike will find this a show about self-discovery, learning to love ourselves, and… finding love~ Ok, enough cheesiness and on to the show~
