Took me some time to finish this because it's been busy in the office, with work and some extracurricular Christmas activities :3 Before I go on babbling about this episode of Shugo Chara, allow me to share a few words about my JLPT tale. Fear not for what I’m about to impart is not a JLPT horror story, but rather something Shugo Chara-filled, so it’s not really off topic :p Let’s just say I felt the presence of Shugo Chara while I was taking the exam, particularly in the first reading / comprehension item, which had “なりたい自己/自分” (naritai jiko/jibun – wannabe or would-be self) written all over it. It didn’t involve any eggs however; it just told of the writer’s realization, about how studying— through experiencing and witnessing different things, not simply within the four walls of the classroom—is a means for people to broaden their horizons and perspective in life, allowing them to discover their wannabe/would-be selves in the process.
