Synopsis: In a world where robots outnumer humans, Casshern kills humanity's hope, Luna, setting the world's ruin into motion. Casshern Sins is a revamp of the entire Casshern franchise, discarding the continuity of the original Neo-Human Casshern series from the 1970's, where Casshern battled the evil robotic forces of Braiking Boss. In Casshern Sins, Casshern works for Braiking Boss and has killed Luna upon his orders. The consequence of this act is the Earth's ruin (thus the "Sins" in the title).
