Nodame Cantabile Paris-Hen 10 Nodame’s recital! She ate too much in Paris to fit into the dress that her mom sewed, so she raids the castle’s costume room with Chiaki and comes out dressed as Mozart. The recital is a huge success - demonstrating Nodame’s mastery of Mozart and her ability to draw her listeners to a different world. Tanya is so impressed by Nodame’s playing that she starts to rethink her own career as a piano student. She gets discouraged, believing her only options are to marry rich or go home to Russia, but Kuroki cheers her up a little by encouraging her to perform at the reception and inspiring her with his own oboe chamber performance. After hearing him play, Tanya is clearly beginning to see Kuroki as more than just a “boring Japanese guy”. Chiaki is also impressed by Nodame’s performance, realizing that she has brought her raw talent such a long way in the 4 years since he first heard her play in Japan, and is continuing to grow and change without him. He vows not to lose her - and YES! The kiss we’ve all been waiting for. <3 This is where the live-action series ended, but there is one more episode left in this season so I’m not sure what to expect.
