Toradora! 12 Shocking news - Ami was actually pretty cool in this episode. I loved this scene where she comforts Ryuuji like a true bro after finding him sulking in her spot between the vending machines. He was bummed because he and Minorin had a blowout fight over Taiga’s reconciliation with her father - Minorin thinks the guy shouldn’t be trusted, while we all know what Ryuuji’s opinion is from last week. Beyond Ryuuji’s dilemma over apologizing to the girl he likes after snapping at her, Minorin’s distrust and anxiety about Taiga’s dad hints that there is more to him than meets the eye. That and the fact that he fails to show up to watch Taiga’s performance at the culture festival. Uh-oh. Daddy’s a let down. I’m looking forward to the beauty contest next week though.
