Bleach 340 - Ichigo and his comrades continue to battle Aizen's forces in Hueco Mundo. While Rengi and Chad fight against the countless hollows that rise up from the ground, Rukia faces off against the Rudobone after defeating the rest of Exequias. Rudobone releases his true form and tells Rukia that defeating his underlings won't bring her victory. Meanwhile, Ichigo continues to fight against Ulquiorra in Aizen's throne room. Ichigo attacks with a Getsuga Tensho but Ulquiorra slices the attack in half and counterattacks with a cero, which Ichigo barely avoids. Ulquiorra goes back to taunting Ichigo and saying that rescuing Orihime is meaningless but Ichigo is determined to fight.My Thoughts:Not much to say about this chapter, as it's just more fights being introduced. The Rukia vs. Rudobone fight might be interesting since we don't know what Rudobone can do. Rukia's fight will probably finish before Ichigo's fight against Ulquiorra, since Ichigo's fight is probably the main event at this point. Perhaps there will be a few more match-ups in Hueco Mundo since there are a couple of shinigami captains that have nothing to do at the moment.---------------------Naruto 430 - Naruto is summoned back to Konoha with Fukasaku and a couple of other frogs and they are shocked by the devastation in the village. In the rubble of the village, most of the named characters managed to survive thanks to Tsunade's Katsuyus. Tsunade herself also survives and immediately goes after Pain, but one of the ANBU assassins note that Tsunade is almost out of chakra. Outside the village, Hell Realm uses his interrogation monster to revive the broken Demon Realm. Demon Realm tosses Animal Realm back to God Realm's and Animal Realm summons the rest of the bodies into the village. As Naruto and the frogs face off against Pain's six bodies, Tsunade jumps into the middle and wants to go after Pain, but Pain acts first and sends Demon Realm flying her way. Tsunade is not able to react in time but Naruto (in Sage mode) dashes in front of her and destroys Demon Realm with one blow. Both Tsunade and Fukasaku can see traces of Jiraiya and the Fourth Hokage in Naruto's moves and Fukasaku notes that Naruto may have surpassed those who came before him. After crushing Demon Realm, Naruto declares war against the rest of Pain's bodies.My Thoughts:Naruto is finally back in the village. Although he is a little late to save Konoha from destruction, he still has plenty of time to get some payback for Jiraiya and the village by defeating Pain. We are probably on to the climax of this story-arc, so lets see if Naruto can live up to people's expectations.
