Bleach 344 - After being blown up by Ishida's mine, Yammy hangs on to the edge of the floor, but Ishida sends him falling to the level below by shooting the edge with his arrow. Ishida then explains that since he had taken the liberty of destroying all the columns as he climbed up the castle, Yammy will probably fall to the bottom level.With Yammy out of the way, Ishida proceeds to explain how he got here before Ichigo can even ask the question. After telling Ishida to take care of Orihime, Ichigo resumes his fight with Ulquiorra by calling up his hollow mask. The combination of hollowfication plus the Getsuga on Ichigo's blade prove too dangerous for Ulquiorra to handle in his normal form. As the battle spills to the outside, Ulquiorra climbs to the top of the dome with Ichigo following him. At the top of the dome, Ulquiorra explains that the Espada numbered 4 and below are not allowed to unleash their power within the dome, so the arrancar has climbed to the top of Las Noches to unleash his true form.My Thoughts:Yammy showed up for a chapter and two pages but is now gone again thanks to Ishida, and of course Ishida just have to strike his poses whenever the opportunity arises. I guess it's not the right time for a side battle to interrupt the main event, and Yammy will probably be taken care of by one of the captains or Ichigo's friends. It's funny how Ichigo suddenly got stronger after Ishida showed up, because if I recall correctly Ulquiorra was able to handle Ichigo's hollowfication form just fine at the beginning of the fight. Perhaps that Getsuga on top of Ichigo's sword was just enough to prompt Ulquiorra to unleash his resurrecion. I don't think the Ichigo right now is strong enough to beat Ulquiorra's true form, so we shall see if Ichigo will suddenly get stronger again or have to get some help from his allies.-----------------Naruto 434 - After taking out Hell Realm and pinning Hungry Ghost Realm, Naruto and his clone attack God Realm but are both sent flying by God Realm's powers. Gamakichi and the other two big frogs make their move to keep God Realm busy while Naruto recovers. Katsuyu explains that God Realm's powers has a 5-second recharge time, which prompts Fukasaku to come up with the idea of using an illusion. Naruto does't know how to do illusions, so Fukasaku will have to do it. Meanwhile, Naruto's friends are watching the battle from the wreckage. Hinata is worried about Naruto and wants to go help him, but another member of Hyuga clan stops her and explains that she will only get in Naruto's way. As the three big frogs are sent flying by God Realm, Fukasaku explains that the illusion will take a while since it requires a lot of sage chakra, so Naruto will just have to hold off God Realm until then. Fukasaku then warns Naruto that he only has one clone left to focus on gathering sage chakra and if that clone is gone then Naruto can only stay in sage mode for five minutes. Shima wonders why Naruto can't make more clones to gather sage chakra, and Fukasaku explains that Naruto can't focus with too many clones around. As Shima and Fukasaku prepare their illusion, Naruto is caught by God Realm's attractive power and then restrained by Hungry Ghost Realm. Naruto tries to resist but Hungry Ghost Realm drains Naruto of his sage chakra and renders him unconscious. My Thoughts:Naruto is defeated already? Hopefully Naruto will make a comeback, because ending the big fight this way would be really disappointing. If Naruto gets captured right now then Fukasaku's plan with the illusion would be a waste, so I'm pretty sure the fight will go on for a little longer. I don't why Naruto didn't take out Hungry Ghost Realm while he had the Realm pinned. I suppose Naruto wanted to attack God Realm from two directions, but that didn't really make much of a difference as God Realm bounced both him and the clone away. An interesting fact we learned in this chapter we learned that Naruto's sage chakra-gathering technique does come at a cost, which is that Naruto can only make three clones during in battle. Given the pros and cons, I'd say Naruto's solution is pretty good given that sage mode is a lot more powerful than more clones, but the clone limit is still a limitation nonetheless. Naruto will probably have to use his last clone reserve to get out of the current situation, so after that he'll just have to hope that Fukasaku's illusion works as planned. -----------------One Piece 531 - After hearing news of Luffy's intrusion, the Marines guarding the outside of Impel Down try to go into the prison to search for Luffy, but they are stopped at the gate by chief guard Sadi-chan and her giant pet koala. Sadi-chan explains that Marines who don't know their way around the prison would be no help, so the Marines should focus on guarding the outside while she and the staff lock down the prison.Deep within Impel Down, Boa Hancock has arrived in front Ace's cell while being accompanied by Magellan, Hannybal, Domino, and Momonga. Ace, Jimbei, and Sir Crocodile are surprised by the visit, while the rest of the prisoners start making lewd comments at Hebihime. While engaging in a meaningless conversation with Ace, Hebihime also uses her charms to convince Magellan to quiet down the rowdy prisoners. Magellan accomplishes the task by using his power to form a hydra and the hydra splashes one of the prisoners with its deadly poison. Just before leaving, Hancock says some cryptic words which Magellan and the guards don't understand, but Ace understands and tells Jimbei that Luffy has broken into the prison.Back on Level 3, Luffy is lost, confused, and not to mention thirsty and hungry. A squad of guards launches several more Kairouseki nets that Luffy barely manages to dodge, but Luffy is then pinned down by the giant sphinx. Just as the sphinx is about to bite down of Luffy, a prisoner who looks like Zoro suddenly appears. That prisoner is actually Mr. 2 Bon Kurei, and the former Baroque Works agent knocks the sphinx off of Luffy with one of his patented kicks. Saldeath orders the sphinx and more guards to apprehend Bon and Luffy, but Luffy and Bon defeats them all. After hugging each other, Bon explains that he'll accompany Luffy to Level 5 as there's someone he wants to see there as well. The two of them then face off against Saldeath and his squad of Blugori guards.My Thoughts:Looks like Mr. 3 and Buggy did free Bon after all, although those two are nowhere to be found in this chapter. Buggy and Mr. 3 are probably trying to escape from the prison, but sticking with Luffy and Bon might be their best bet at surviving this dungeon crawl. The person Bon wants to see in Level 5 is probably Sir Croc, although Bon, being such a weirdo, might surprise us by wanting so see someone else. It looks like Luffy has a strong helper at his side now, so getting to Level 4 shouldn't be a problem. Luffy has gotten a new member for his party for every level he visited so far, so who is going to be his new teammate on Level 4?On the other front Hebihime has successfully delivered the message to Ace, and the wardens don't seem to be smart enough to notice. The Marines might eventually find out that Hebihime was the one who sneaked Luffy in given that her visit is quite unusual, but it doesn't look like she's in trouble at this point.
